We’ve all been hearing for years that artificial intelligence is going to take over the world, but the risk to creatives has been relatively low. However, as you may have recently noticed, AI has become very good at creating art.
2022 saw a huge uptick in the use of artificial intelligence in digital marketing—a trend that looks poised to continue in 2023. New tools like ChatGPT promise to make copywriting easier than ever before.
“Will artificial intelligence take my job?”
A lot of creatives are probably asking themselves that question right now. My opinion, however, hasn’t changed. While it is stunning what AI is now capable of, there are still so many areas where it falls short. Without a human touch, AI writing and visuals often come out on the bland side. It is still simply a tool for creatives to use—nothing more.
