Robokidz announces Robotics Premier League-Jr. is Robokidz’s annual Robotics Competition for school kids.
Since five years, Robokidz has been organizing various National and State-level Robotics Competitions in association with premium institutes like MIT, Pune and IIT Bombay. These competitions have been creating a visual spectacle year after year. Some of the events hosted by us are:
- Robosoccer – 2010
- Robosoccer – 2011
- Robocon Jr. – 2013
- Robocon Jr. – 2014
- Techfest , IIT Bombay – 2015
Robokidz was born in 2010 with the motto of promoting technical skills, scientific thinking, and innovation. Today, we are well established as one of India's finest science and technology skills development company, reaching out to more than 30,000 kids in over 300 schools across India. We have completed five golden years of creating an unmatched aura of science and technology.
For the first time ever, Robokidz will be introducing a Robotics Premier League. We plan to have a unique theme related to social issues and games for each year. The theme for 2015 was "CLEAN & GREEN CITY" which had robots picking up, segregating garbage and planting trees.
The theme for 2016 is “Aqua Robots”, where our aim is to spread awareness about the importance of cleaning up a river and keeping it pollution free. Kids will be required to make robots that can float on water and have a mechanism to pick up objects floating in the water.
Robokidz will be partnering with schools across India to organize Robotics Workshops and Zonal Competitions. The preliminary rounds will be held across 28 Zonal Centers all over India and the National-level Grand Finale will be held in Pune.
It is a three stage event as detailed below:
Stage 1: Workshop at School/Zonal Centers
Stage 2: Zonal Competition
Stage 3: National Level Competition at Pune
We invite school across the nation to be a part of this grand event. This is our initiative to unleash the scientist and technologist inside a child.
