Winners of the AI Startup Challenge

Many congratulations to the winners of our #AI Startup Challenge T-robotics and mbodi ai . Both winners will receive $30,000 in project funding and will collaborate directly with ABB's technology experts to develop market-ready solutions and a six-month membership to SynerLeap, ABB’s startup accelerator. Both T-Robotics and Mbodi expect to launch their first commercial application with ABB in 2025.

Hands-on with RobotStudio?

In November we held our first ABB RobotStudio??User Group Event in Barcelona, hosted especially for invited customers and value providers. We networked, shared knowledge and gave a preview of what’s to come for RobotStudio and ABB Robotics' full Software and Digital portfolio.

Transforming the Automotive paint shop

Announced this month, our new partnership with ESS - Engineering Software Steyr GmbH will improve paint shop efficiency with cutting-edge simulation software which will speed up commissioning and reduce paint shop costs by 30 percent. What’s more, we will integrate ESS's technology into our own programming and simulation tool, RobotStudio?, benefiting customers of our?smart automation solutions such as PixelPaint and RB1000i-S digitally enabled atomizer.

New AMR center, Madrid

Our new AMR Training and Showroom Center in Madrid is a hub for innovation, learning, and collaboration. Designed to address the growing demand for skilled professionals who can operate and support AMRs, the center offers immersive training programs and live demonstrations of AMRs equipped with technologies like Visual SLAM and AMR Studio?.? ?
