Job Help ??

There is much hype around Data Science and Citizen Data Science. However, more than 70% of efforts chasing ROI are spent on data collection, understanding data quality, manual cleansing, integration, data curation, and governance, all falling under the umbrella of DataOps. Citizen Data Science is almost impossible to achieve without DataOps, which is extremely complex and expensive.

This is why we’ve created this group, with the objective of seasoned professionals and data newbies to exchange ideas on how to achieve true Citizen DataOps, with the help of our platform?Quantumics.

Data Titbits ??

Last week, Xiaomi introduced a bipedal humanoid robot during a launch event for its foldable devices. The new CyberOne is capable of perceiving 3D space and recognising individuals, gestures, and expressions. It can recognise 45 classifications of human emotion and even comfort users in times of sadness. Xiaomi promises a range of real-world applications for the robot, including manufacturing assistance and human companionship.

Tech News ??

Bezos sure feels left out with Instagram and TikTok embracing short-form vertical content, as Amazon is now testing a vertical photo and video feed in its app among staff. Posts on the feed include links to purchase featured items. Amazon product recommendations are extremely popular, so adding a TikTok-like feature native to the Amazon app makes a lot of sense for the company. It is unclear whether Amazon will roll out the feature to the public.

  • Apple’s next iPhone event will?reportedly be held on September 7th, and is rumoured to contain the launch of the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro lineup, as well as new Apple Watches.
  • Microsoft is now allowing developers to access a preview version of its Microsoft Dev Box cloud-powered workstations. The software giant?announced Microsoft Dev Box?earlier this year, and it’s effectively an easy way for developer to spin up powerful cloud PCs for testing applications. Dev Box includes apps and services designed specifically for developers to quickly access preconfigured workstations.
