HUMAN-CREWED MISSION TO MARS
?? Just because one might be able to find a couple of astronauts crazy enough to go on a human-crewed mission to Mars, is not sufficiently sensible reason to squander a vast sum of money pandering to such lunacy.
MASSIVE SPEED INCREASE REQUIRED

The human-crewed mission from the Moon to Mars needs to be postponed indefinitely until we have increased the speed by which we are capable of traveling to and from the red planet, with the round trip from the Moon to Mars and back taking no longer than is currently required to journey from the Earth to the Moon and back — around a week.
ROBOT ASTRONAUTS
