We all need a nudge!! It’s now been over 6 months since my diagnosis and treatment for Prostate Cancer.? Despite everyone at work being well aware of my situation and encouraged to get tested, I have just offered an at-home PSA Test to anyone of them who wanted one, and virtually all the over-50 men have taken me up on the offer!
That’s great news and I am more than happy to cover the small cost. ?What is disconcerting however is just how badly we look after our own health, and I am just as guilty as they are! ?I hadn’t bothered getting tested, didn’t think there was any need, I was just very lucky. Hopefully the 12 who have asked for kits to test themselves will be all clear, and I am the only one; but, as 1 in 8 men over 50 suffer prostate cancer at some point, making everyone more aware and giving them a nudge will help ensure they and others look after themselves?

8 个月Good health is one of the three key pillars to a good life, with environment and mindset being the others. If you have these three things you have everything you need to create a great life. I wish the local GP's would make it easier to get tested.
