Robin's diary 29th January 2018

It’s a funny old world - a few weeks’ ago Leeds United, Bradford City and Huddersfield Town were all doing great, and the Aussies were kicking our bums in the Ashes - now we have just won the One Day series in Oz, but none of our local teams can win a raffle never mind a game!!

That just goes to show how fast things can change - not just sport but in life and in business. 

I have just become a Grandad for the first time! Granted it hasn’t changed me like it has my Mrs – she is now a Granny and absolutely made up and loving her new role! 

In business we never know what’s around the corner, and to be honest I couldn’t see much good news on the business front, but fortunately I was wrong - manufacturing is booming, and a little unexpectedly, we just enjoyed a record weekend! Even with a bit of snow and freezing cold weather, we sold 30 cars last weekend! Just like England’s Cricketers, it was a result I could only wish for! So, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield can hope that good results are on their way, as long as they don’t use my Good Luck!
