The Roaring 20's For Brisbane Property
Last night I was invited to a forum of some of Brisbane's leading Women in Property and Construction. The room was buzzing with the news of Brisbane winning the Olympics and already, some of the best minds in the future planning of Brisbane's growth, are in overdrive.?
Many of the local companies at last night's event are at the forefront of the Queens Wharf development, the redevelopment of Brisbane's Eagle Street Pier and the Cross River Rail project. All key drivers for establishing our city's reputation firmly as a world class city even prior to the games beginning.?
The question on everyone's mind was Brisbane's property prices. Already, with the massive spike in growth outperforming all other states during Covid, the overwhelming agreement was that the next ten years ahead will be known as "The?Roaring?20's" for Brisbane property.?
The planning has started now for the games infrastructure, driving massive employment growth within construction over the next ten years.?This will continue to create massive interstate employment migration, in turn, continuing to drive the insatiable need for housing in the South East Queensland Golden Triangle of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
?Brisbane is finally having it's well deserved time to shine in the international spotlight.?For a more detailed overview of the Brisbane suburbs set to benefit from the games as well as the infrastructure overview, the report below is an excellent insight.
