Roadmap and perspectives

I’ve been working for some time now on The Road to Sustainability's weekly review about trends, methods, and perspectives. This week, I want to share a few updates now that we have some details nailed down.

All the content has been conceived in an informative, practical way, including everything you need to start your sustainability journey. I hope it can lend you as much perspective as it lent me.

More than ever, I would love to hear your thoughts. Please, drop me a comment below or a response in a private message with your predictions for the year ahead, and I’ll feature them in my next edition.

Wishing you and yours a healthy and prosperous week,

Yael

Preamble

The urgency with which organizations need to adopt sustainability during a paradigm shift cannot be downplayed. The toughest challenge for all industries, decision-makers, and policymakers from public and private sectors remains customer-centricity and the consideration of a completely sustainable life cycle assessment plan. The digitalization of all parts of the business models plays a vital role in achieving sustainability, at scale, over a long period of time.

? In this review, I provide the imperatives and recommendations you need to build more resilient, flexible, and responsive organizations in which resources, operations, and processes can sense and respond to change. It requires organizational flexibility and operational excellence.

Highlights

Organizations need to stimulate sustainability by making sure their products last longer and design supply chains for recyclability. And invest in experimentation and research and development, reduce carbon footprint, greenhouse emissions. The most crucial point is incentivizing the right behavior, encouraging blended business models, and making growth profitability more climate change friendly.

The latest issue

For this new decade, missions' priorities must be on reinforcing the network and productivity and growth and ensure the appreciation of the following value creation phase. This three-part review aims to help and support entrepreneurs, small and medium business leaders, corporate managers, decision and policymakers, from governmental and non-governmental organizations in their journey to build resilient and responsive organizations.
