The Road to Mastery

I started reading the book,?Mastery.

I’m early on, but one of the key contributors to achieving mastery in your work is to find your “vocation,” which comes from the Latin word “vocare” meaning “to be called.”

In other words, there’s no point whatsoever doing something “just for the paycheck,” because ultimately, it’s going to eat away at you.

You won’t have the passion nor motivation to pursue mastery.

But finding your calling is a lifelong pursuit.

Listening to that still, quiet voice inside of you is the way.

As Bruce Lee said once,

“if you seek peace, be still. If you seek wisdom, be silent.”
