Life doesn't always go the way we planned... the question is what we do when it doesn't go the way we planned.
This is a story worth reading from top to bottom.
Did you dream as youngster and feel connected to #peterpan and #marypoppins?
?George described his goal were to #traveltheworld. Yet, it wasn't a straight road to succeed. He had many false starts at #merchantmarine and he failed. Next, he tried to apply to the airlines as #airlinesteward and failed again.
A friends suggested he pursue travel industry to become #travelagent and began studying at #lacc and worked with lots of people in the #entertainment industry.
?Hit the road of success with another partner. He wanted to fulfill his dream job of travelling every three weeks to a new city and country. He worked with celebrities like @MichelJackson heads of state and everyone you saw on #redcarpet were his clients.
?Traveled every 3 days and his partner had brains behind it. I thought travelling every 3 day was like living the dream.
?One challenge was back in #1980 #cocaine was just like #starbucks. If you did it with models, entertainment, royalty and felt like the #WolfofWallstreet. He lived this lifestyle for 13 years.
***Note the average person in entertainment only does this for a year.
Then he began to resent the work and so got #harvardmba to manage the work. They would run the business and travel.
A #nervousbreakdown changed everything.
We thought we would find success in travel but got involved with the wrong people. I was living what we all see in the movies was my life.
My wife and moved into real estate and began a family but I was still addicted to drugs.
Addiction stayed and it was when the family service arrived with two police officers visited his home. They arrived looking for his wife, who unknown to him was trying to quit drinking. She had missed her third appointment. Random chance, their number got pulled up. He watched and his child got taken in another room. Fear ran through his body and he decided then and there to get off drugs. The Social worker asked if we needed help.
Tired of running and she asked if there was a problem. Most say, no and just slam the door. I invited the social worker in she and asked to speak to daughter.
Freaked out seeing the social worker and agent walk out with daughter to another room. She referred him to Office of Narcotics and Drug in Long Beach.

This was perfect because I had spent a lot of money on other expensive programs. This was our last moment we picked up drugs or alcohol. It was having a daughter that made us see reality.
I began to see other others who didn't have our resources to get help and a lot of other young kids, foster kids, living on street, parolees and began buying properties, and cars to house street kids, hooker, and parolees.?
He looked at wife and they had no common interest. We decided to be parents for to raise our child. I lived 12 years in loveless marriage to raise kids. It didn’t work out, and we divorced. I replaced my addiction with a deep commitment to spiritual and charity.
I am addict don't like normal things only speed. I start loving all the wrong people hookers, strippers, homeless, and prison parolees.? I would hug them, and it made me feel great the same way that drugs did my releasing the genes that I felt when doing drugs. The people I hugged; told me I don’t need your hugs. I said it is ok.
Hugging people released pleasure symptoms and then replaced addiction with helping people.
Justin Mayo is grandson who does celebrity event with #BruceJenner, #theKardashian and I enroll men and cook for big event which is on #mothersday. The man from the# #kardashian asked who were Karajan and Mayo. He said, you should call and let us know the #MidnightMissionMeals . We feed couple hundred people. You make good food and then they don't eat our food.
?He invited me to see their business. It was beyond anything I could imagine consider #Clubmed for the #homelelss. They had on #postoffice, #library #comptuerClub home.
They also had a scholarship through the city?to help the misfortunate get ahead.
I started donating and giving scholarships. I got a phone call from a person who had gone through the program and heard the success they achieved.? The grant got bigger, but the results didn’t and covid burned people out. They formed a collective that would raise funds to help the homeless, parolees, prostituted etc. I helped raise those funds in a program called #projectsurrender and we just opened 1st office in Inglewood
