On the Road with the International Mass Timber Conference: Exploring the Southeast U.S.

Dear Forest Business Network LLC Newsletter Reader:

The International Mass Timber Conference team is currently on the road again for meetings with conference partners and stakeholders in our first ever journey through the Southeast (and thereabouts). These trips help us fact-find, bolster our connections, and give us valuable feedback to improve the show.

This week we've got five days of intense travel through three states — Alabama, Arkansas, and Georgia — for personal tours of mass timber buildings and manufacturing facilities. Our destinations include:

Conway, Arkansas: Mercer Mass Timber factory.

Bentonville, Arkansas: 沃尔玛 headquarters.

Atlanta, Georgia: Ponce City Market and 619 Ponce (mass timber). We're meeting with Jamestown , the buildings' owner and developer, who is taking us on the tour.

Dothan, Alabama: SmartLam North America? manufacturing facility.

Fayetteville, Arkansas: Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design .

For those that we couldn't fit into the schedule, we hope to catch you the next time around. But in the near future we'll see you in Portland, Oregon: March 25–27, 2025.

Best,

Craig Rawlings
