The road to the good life - buckle up!

Building a business, following your dream, working for the things that really matter to you… It might be all worth it in the end but the road to get there isn’t always easy...

How do you stay motivated when things get hard?

Let me tell you what happens happens on the road to the good life:

??There are bumps in the road. When you drive over them too fast it hurts your butt.

??You can get off track. Life happens, you can get lost in the woods for a while.

??Your tire gets stuck in the mud. No matter how heavily you step on the gas you’re just spraying mud.

??There are some big-ass holes in the road. The funk might be scary and it takes a lot of effort to get out off it.

??Road blocks & obstacles. Sometimes it feels like there's no way to get around it.

??Accidents. Oops, we all make mistakes. Hopefully you didn't hurt someone. Your car might be damaged though...

But do we give up, abandon the car and camp in the woods forever?

No. We keep going.

So how do you stay motivated when things get hard? Well…

????What would you do if you hurt your butt driving over a big bump? It hurts, you apply some cream, you may cry a little and then you keep going.

????What would you do if you get off track and get lost? You try to find your way back to the main road!

????What do you do when you get stuck in the mud? You look for tools you can use as a lever. Doesn’t work? You ask for help. You're never alone.

????What do you do when you drive through a big hole? You drive carefully through it, take some deep breaths at the bottom of the funk and then step on the gas to get out of it.

????What do you do when you encounter a roadblock? You find ways to get around it. Maybe you have to drive a few extra miles, but you’ll get there.

????What do you do when you make an accident? You get upset, cry, evaluate the damage and learn from your mistake. When there’s other people involved you show regret and apologize. Then you fix your car and you go on.
