I need This Yesterday !!
You may have heard it from your client, that's MR. I WANTED YESTERDAY.
He is a very common client, most likely he is not good at time management, this happens when he lives in another dimension outside the space-time quantum, it is simply a lack of awareness.
Most clients think just because they thought of an idea, it is mission accomplished, we all wish it was that simple.
Especially in marketing, there is a process and a chain of command of scheduling and handling of multiple clients.
Yes, we make our clients feel like the world revolves around them that's called great customer service.
When you have Mr. I WANTED YESTERDAY as a client you simply have to take him to the road to ENLIGHTENMENT to make him aware of the space-time continuum and reality vs. imagination.
You have to be straight forward and to educate them about the process, in the end, there are 3 big steps involved.
AWARENESS, ACCEPTANCE, ACTION that's how any great marketing campaign is done, and that's the same way you have to handle your client.
First. awareness: you have to make him aware that good ideas take time to be implemented correctly from the creative to the development stage, it is a long road.
Second. acceptance: once the client accepted the fact that it takes time to create amazing results, make sure to keep him posted, because he wants to be involved in the process, in the end, it's his business.
Third. action: make sure you listen to the client's reasonable objections and take action based on it because the customer is always right, and when he is wrong you need to make him aware of it by educating him.
In the end, you don't go to a doctor to tell him what prescription you need to write it down, you go to a doctor for a consultation to know what prescription will get you the best results.
Be straightforward if they expect the impossible, educate them with reality.
