The Road Ahead
Sure, it’s cliché to talk about gratitude around Thanksgiving but it’s just what we do — hopefully every day, but definitely this week.
It’s been a year of change, and growth, and challenge. And I’m left feeling grateful for all of it.
This month, Punch Bowl Social was honored with the Denver Business Journal’s Fast 50 company award, ranking us among the 10 fastest-growing private companies in the region. Earlier this month, I was honored as a “most-admired CEO” in Denver by the same publication. Earlier in the year, we were recognized by Fast Company as one of their Most Innovative Companies in the world.
Awards are heady stuff, but they mark moments in time and are very quickly in the rearview mirror. The team at Punch Bowl Social is looking squarely ahead. We have nearly 3,000 team members in our 19 locations nationwide, and we’ve got our foot on the gas heading into 2020. Earning awards is a privilege and it reminds us how far we’ve come, but there’s a long road ahead of us.
This year, I extend my gratitude to the entire Punch Bowl Social team for taking this road trip with me. And I’m looking forward to what’s up ahead.

4 年Mindboggling reading this thirteen months after it is posted as we are 12 months into the pandemic. Nine months later, there's a change in CEOs at PBS. Now thirteen months after this was published PBS files for Chapter 11. Sars-Cov-2 claims another well loved restaurant and entertainment concept. It saddens me as I've been to the Chicago West Loop location many times. Debt kills and we can debate up until our memories fog over these last 14 months of loss and suffering.
