  1. not much to say here. He gave me an opening that confuzzled me:

should I take? or push my noble epawn onward? or develop/protect with my pawn or bishop?

2. I took the pawn and the queen took back. After attacking the queen with my knight on c3, this happened:

I think this begins the middle game.

4. I was stuck mentally from here. There didnt seem to be any effective moves. So, I just looked for moves that didnt harm me and might generate some momentum.


5. Then, on move 23:

I was praying I could promote my pawn and keep it.... it didn't work out.

6. On move 28:

so pretty, but completely useless

7. So both of us have bishops and a buncha pawns and a rook. I didn't see how either of us could convert a win:

8. And neither of us did:

9. So that was my last game of turkey month.

10. I don't want to study theory, but I don't know how else to build an intuition for openings. I am so bad at them my middlegame always begin as trash.
