Give ‘em Hell Harry ..a plain spoken Haberdasher from Independence, Missouri ?was greatly underestimated during his presidency

…for he was the first president since William McKinley that did not have a College degree

Even in the 1940’s such an absence of credentialing was a huge liability that his adversaries in the Press and Republicans constantly poked at him

What he lacked in formal education was made up in zeal, high minded ethical principles, and that rural intuitive genius of Common Sense

He was brought up as a Presbyterian and no doubt was well seeped both in biblical and experiential guidance that formed his strong sense of resolve

His Give’ em Hell Harry label came during the his 1948 Presidential Election when Truman was delivering a speech and a supporter yelled

Give ‘em Hell Harry

To which he exclaimed

I don’t give them hell---Just tell the truth about them and they think its Hell

His presidential opponent was NY Gov Thomas Dewey –former Manhattan District Attorney – Columbia Law Grad

On every level well positioned on a educational and professional level as superior to Truman

More than a liability to Truman, he used this to his advantage during the campaign in which Dewey was heavily favored to win in a landslide

American Conventional Wisdom always seems to be wrong, and such was the case in 1948

…as Truman embarked on a Whistle Stop Campaign Tour in which he delivered 325 speeches and covered 22,000 miles from Sept 6th to Nov 5th 1948 at 238 locations

Dewey was like Biden 2020….sequestered with less than forty speeches and never debated Harry head to head

Truman’s competitive spirit captured the attention of the American Public and when the smoke cleared in the wee hours of Nov 3rd

Truman Won 303 Electoral – Dewey 189

Plus, his coattails pulled Democrats to victory in the Senate & House

A Big Big Win !

The now famous November 4th Victory Speech shows Truman holding the Chicago Daily Tribune with the headline

So underestimated was this man by the elite establishment that they were writing his political epitaph before he was even dead.

The Oxygen Leaves the Room as the energy of your intellect and sensibilities express truthful direction.

Biden /Trump convey the “patrician” weakness of Dewey in their dismissive demeanor in which they diss RJK jr as an outlier misfit that is not worthy to mount the Debate Stage even though he will receive tens of millions of votes this November

This is an Inflection Moment where both Trump and Biden reveal just how totally inauthentic each one of them are in their own unique dysfunctional manner.

Donald and Joe could not take the Heat in the Kitchen from Kennedy, so the best manner is to ignore the obvious invisible elephant and have your media mouth pieces do the rest of your bidding—in putting down RJK jr.

Yet …we will never know that Kodak Leadership Moment with Biden-Trump-Kennedy on the Debate Stage?

The heat on the debate stage …just like the kitchen is too hot for Donald and Joe to handle as the temperature of the discussion would surely quicken with RJK jr from his Numero Uno response

His Intellectual Confidence operates on an entirely different speed of energy

Unlike the unbridled embrace of the American Public by Truman with no string attached in his 325 speeches across the Fruited Plain

Team Biden- Team Trump are petrified of the American Public as their collective leadership now presents the expected behavior of someone in the audience to just erupt in a display of unqualified mental unwellness that would become the Above the Fold Headline the next day more than anything that either Joe or Donald had to say

So let’s see here

There will be no RJK Jr….

No Audience due to a potential Gaza Genocide Moment

and for that matter nothing extemporaneous in terms of the questions

That will be a scripted play by play then Storyboarded for #46 and even then nothing of substance will be communicated from Joe’s lips

Donald will berate his Agenda of Grievances with the WOKE Left with his obsessive compulsive narcissistic self-absorbed banter exclaiming that he alone possesses some gifted transformational leadership wonder

Sadly, both Donald and Joe will be playing their own song over and over again during the debate with little to no interactive discussion that could even rise to be considered – intellectual or even more laughable – something of substance ?

Well ..I guess it then makes sense….What would Robert do while this Three Ring Circus of Joe-Donald and the Commentators putting their fat thumb on the scale?

With each response Robert would utter this charade of a leadership debate for the Highest Office in the Land would be exposed for the shame it has become

Bread and Circus for the Masses – the mob that hungers for such gore

…far field from the Whistle Stop Speech of Give ‘em Hell Harry in which he called out the Do Nothing Republican Congress and purposed sweeping new domestic, civil rights and foreign policy initiatives

The Debate of Concept and Ideas that the American Public should expect from their leadership

..and for Harry the Confidence Personal Discussion with the American Public that brought him back to the Oval Office for four more years

So, for Team Biden & Team Trump their inadequacies may be different but in the final analysis they both possess insurmountable insufficiencies that next to each other don’t look quite as bad

Now we know why Donald and Joe can finally find something to agree upon as there is a fundamental difference between a diamond and a piece of shiny glass

…the wise American Public in just One Second on that Debate Stage would reveal the sad truth that we all must live with for another four years
