Rivery’s new self-service approach: delivering more agility and autonomy for data analysts and engineers.

This week marks a major milestone for Rivery. Something which essentially every team in the company has been working on for the past 5 months. We are on a mission to make organizational data easier to access for anyone who needs it, and shortening the time it takes for teams to turn disparate data points across different sources and platforms into coherent and cohesive business insights.?

While simplicity has always been (and will always be) a core element of every product or feature we develop, removing any barriers that might stand between prospects that want to dive into the product itself is not a simple mission.

Our customers give us confidence

We trust our technology and fully believe in its potential to transform how data is managed. However, seeing how amazed our customers are when they experience it is incredible. Many of them triple their usage of Rivery within the first 12 months of subscribing to our platform!?

Once they’re inside and start “playing” with pipelines, logic rivers, and easily connecting all data sources, they’re hooked. A DataOps solution that helps them maintain and automate data pipelines and workflows gives them back the time needed to focus on what matters - without having to worry about the infrastructure or maintenance of data processes.?

A self-service platform means that any data analyst or engineer in a large organization, or any startup founder figuring out how to manage their data workflows can get in on the action straight away. With recent product additions such as Rivery Kits, where anyone can choose from a growing repository of pre-engineered workflows, we want to empower any head or BI, data analyst, or data scientist to be able to access the data they need without help from developers or engineers.?

Of course, our hundreds of API connectors are the basis of plugging all data sources into a single source of truth. Without controlling all your data, you can’t even get started with the slicing and dicing. However, the fun comes as we give you the freedom to play with that data - transforming it, creating the business logics, establishing automated workflows, leveraging pre-defined data models that have been tried and tested by businesses like yours.

There’s always a tension between the needs of business teams and IT. We want to bridge the gap between them with solutions that holistically take everyone’s needs into account - yet ultimately empowers the end users that want to dive deeper and faster into a single source of data.

Why Self-Service?

From a customer standpoint it’s a no-brainer. We want to remove every possible entry barrier. No minimum spend, no annual commitments, no need for a demo or sales. We have worked very hard to make our platform very easy. We had to simplify the onboarding flow and made our UI and UX self-explanatory so people can create, orchestrate, and schedule data pipelines and complex workflows.??

Ultimately, we hope that this empowers our existing and new users with autonomy, agility, and accessibility. Autonomy to access the data they need when they need it and single-handedly create the pipelines and workflows to dive into insights.?

In return, this will help them operate with unprecedented agility to be more reactive to business needs - and the faster pace of business in which data sources, data models, and business strategies change and evolve faster than ever before. Finally, our new starter plan offers accessibility to anyone that isn’t ready to commit until they experience Rivery.

Code-free and hassle-free, Rivery was created to democratize and simplify access to data. A self-service approach takes this one step further, empowering anyone to try Rivery without any commitments.?

Besides connecting data sources, migrating data from across different databases, or orchestrating the ETL/ELT process, I encourage everyone to take advantage of our growing repository of Kits - priceless pre-defined data workflows that anyone can deploy without help from data engineers or developers. This means not just making any data source accessible, but also making any data model attainable.?

I am very excited about this new chapter for Rivery, which of course wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible talent and dedication of the entire team.

You can read more about it on Rivery’s Blog or the press announcement.?
