With that spirit in mind, Dow embarks on our journey as a founding member of Rivers Are Life—an inspiring new platform to enable advocates to make a positive impact on the health of rivers around the world, one project at a time. Our work with Rivers Are Life reinforces our commitment to climate and circularity leadership in the role we have as one of the most sustainable materials science company in the world.?

With 90 percent of the world’s population living within walking distance of a river, these ecosystems are essential to the prosperity and wellbeing of the earth and to us. Rivers Are Life serves as an opportunity to spotlight the restoration of river ecosystems and the people who are working to improve both community and environmental health. ?

Dow is committed to ambitious climate targets and our roadmap offers a path to net-zero while driving growth. In addition to creating low-carbon solutions that can be scaled globally, Dow is also supporting people and projects—like our participation in Rivers Are Life—that help to resolve the climate and carbon crisis by improving both wetland ecosystems and freshwater resources.
