Riverbed promotes executives for global channels
Network management vendor Riverbed has promoted key executives to lead its global channel organisation.
Eric Tinker has been promoted to senior vice president of commercial sales with an expanded role including Riverbed channels and alliances, global renewals and commercial sales programmes, and will continue to report to Dan Smoot, chief operating officer at Riverbed.
Meg Brennan has been promoted to vice president of global channels and will continue to report to Tinker. Tinker had been the interim leader for Riverbed global channels following Bridget Bisnette’s retirement earlier this year.
This February, Riverbed appointed Brecht Seurinck as vice president of channel sales for EMEA.
COO Dan Smoot said: “We are expanding the channel team to support demand for solutions that have been so critical to organisations in supporting work-from-anywhere environments, while maintaining a strong security posture and maximising the visibility of networks and applications.
“We look forward to furthering the partnership with our channel partner community this year and beyond.”
Prior to Riverbed, Tinker was senior director for renewals, customer success and technical support at Salesforce and senior vice president of global renewals at PTC.
Brennan has previously worked at Dell EMC, Sun Microsystems, JD Edwards, Arrow and Tech Data.
