Is it rite or right?
Were you born into this world as a rite or right?
Either way are you taking life as a rite or are you living right? Whatever you’re doing, are you doing it as a rite or doing it right?
First it’s important we understand the difference between right and rite. A Rite is doing something because you think it is real, recognized and feasibly legitimate - otherwise called Human Nature; while Right is doing something because it is virtuous, just and morally upright - otherwise called Godly Righteousness.
However due to some similar spelling and pronunciations of these traits, the rites are progressively and popularly been described as rights; the so-called human rights; and actually some of these human rights are right, while others are rites.
Anyway even as we dwell in the right, rights and rites, the most important question that we must ask ourselves is, ‘What purpose does the rite or right serve you or to other people?’ What are the true intentions and benefits of the rite or right to you or other people?
Are you taking things as a rite or right..? You need to know and understand your intentions, benefits and purpose in living life.
Are you learning just because it is a norm or because it is a need? Are you working or in business just to make profit, or because it is necessary? Are you helping someone just because you’re capable or because you have the will?
Whatever activity you are doing, better ask yourself whether you are doing it as a rite or doing it right!
If your answers to the above queries honestly abide by the latter thoughts, then you and I can indeed strive to overcome the rites and triumph to embrace that’s right.
