R.I.T.A. 2.0 project: Magic supports the inclusion initiative promoted by Fondazione De Agostini
After a three-month trial period, Magic has reaffirmed its commitment to the R.I.T.A. 2.0 Project by offering a permanent contract to one of the two professionals involved.
Developed by Fondazione Adecco with the support of Fondazione De Agostini and Fondazione Deloitte, this initiative focuses on reskilling, training, and professional inclusion of women in vulnerable situations, and creating new professional opportunities for them.
Two women embarked on this journey within the company, working in different departments—one in the communication office and the other in the R&D laboratory.
Daniela: returning to graphic design thanks to Magic and the R.I.T.A. Project
Daniela Tadiotto, with a professional background in graphic design and publishing, was selected for her skills and experience.
Last October, she joined Magic’s communication department, rediscovering her passion and updating her expertise.
She said:
"I’m grateful for the opportunity that the R.I.T.A. Project has given to me. "It brought me back to my hometown and introduced me to a dynamic and welcoming organisation where I found colleagues with whom I work in perfect harmony. I’m acquiring new skills in graphic design, a sector that is constantly evolving. I’m deeply thankful to the company and to Mara Galli, CEO of Magic, who made it all possible."
From Syria to Magic’s laboratory: a new beginning
The second employee is a young Syrian refugee who had to leave her country due to the ongoing conflict. In Magic’s laboratories, she found the stability she needed, applying her innate precision and structured approach to analytical tasks. Magic’s professional environment provided her with an opportunity for career growth in a stimulating context.
Her integration process was a major challenge, but thanks to the structured support of the R.I.T.A. Project and Magic’s guidance, she strengthened her skills during her time at the company.
R.I.T.A. 2.0: workforce training and inclusion
R.I.T.A. (Reskilling Inclusion Talent Achievement) is a project launched in 2021 by Fondazione Adecco with support from J.P. Morgan, to help women experiencing economic and social hardship, further exacerbated by the pandemic.
Following the success of its first edition, which helped over 200 women through training and career orientation, the project has been relaunched for the 2024-2025 biennium with the backing of Fondazione De Agostini and Fondazione Deloitte.
Its goal is to provide real opportunities to at least 100 women through a process that includes training, coaching, and job placement. Thanks to collaborations with companies, associations, and institutions, the program offers structured support to help participants develop their skills and re-enter the job market with greater confidence and stability.
Magic has chosen to support the project, reaffirming its commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering talent, regardless of personal background
Magic’s participation in the R.I.T.A. 2.0 Project demonstrates how collaboration between companies and foundations can generate a positive social impact. Providing job opportunities to individuals in disadvantaged situations is a social responsibility that enriches companies with fresh perspectives and renewed energy.
The project is set to expand in the coming years, with the ambition of involving even more organizations and offering an increasing number of women the chance to build a solid and rewarding career.
