When you go on holiday is it time to turn off and put away your laptop and phone so that you can't read work e-mails? Even then are you tempted to just take a small peek, so you know what is going on, and avoid being faced with 100's of them when you return? But, have you done this and then regretted it, after seeing a huge problem that ruins your whole holiday? Remember Pandora?

But banning staff from accessing their work emails outside office hours could do more harm than good to employee wellbeing, a study suggests. University of Sussex researchers found while a ban could help some staff switch off, it could also stop people achieving work goals, causing stress.
