Risks - focus on what matters most

Risks - focus on what matters most

The biggest risk for me? Not taking any risks.

Life requires courageous decisions, and not just as an entrepreneur. Do I back off in a crisis - or do I really step on the gas? Do I do something or just talk??

Crises show what managers are made of. And what courage and optimism can achieve. ?

Shapers or preservers, doers or preventers, think big or bake small rolls?

Should we invest now in skilled workers, in expanding our logistics network, in securing our IT systems??

No time would be better suited to arming ourselves against risks than now.

In my view, this is confirmed by a recent study by the @Logistics Hall of Fame in cooperation with the Schunk Group .

Logisticians currently see a shortage of skilled workers (71.8 percent), followed by cybercrime (64.1 percent) and supply chain interruptions (48.7 percent) pose the greatest risks to their business.

Which means: those who have the courage to invest in their employees and employer branding campaigns now, in the security of their IT, in new networks and processes, will be among the crisis winners in the end.

?We, too, help companies to get through the crisis successfully.

?For example, with flexible leasing solutions that adapt to fluctuating shipment volumes.

?Or telematics systems that enable swap bodies to be utilized more efficiently.

?There is always a way, even in a crisis. And sometimes without any risk.
