The Risks of Flying Blind: Why Every Company Needs a System

The Risks of Flying Blind: Why Every Company Needs a System

As we discussed last week, the importance of having a system in companies or institutions and the impact of having a system on organizing the work of individuals. A wise leader does not compromise or overlook important matters such as building a system and obligating others to adhere to it. Today, we will discuss what would happen if there was no system, what challenges the leader would face, and how it would affect others.

The absence of a system, as I mentioned earlier, means the end in the early stages. Leaving employees without a system that appreciates their efforts and clarifies the duties and commitments of those in charge means randomness and obscurity in vision. This worsens as the number of employees increases. Therefore, imagine the danger the company would face if it grew and expanded! This is extremely terrible. We conclude here that the ultimate goal of having a system is for the company to grow smoothly and transition from one stage of success to another with ease and success.

Since the dawn of humanity, there have been basic rules that must be adhered to. The nature of these laws varies, as some are derived from religion and legislative sources, while others are derived from customs and traditions in that region, or some laws are derived from the harm caused by something. Therefore, the system is considered a fundamental stage that must be reached and preferably in the early stages so that we do not build failure on failure.

Building factions within the same team means the beginning of the end for the group. Teamwork is the key to success. If discord and poison are spread among team members because privileges are granted only to a certain group and not to others, as there is no system that includes everyone in success, this means the inevitable bad end. Therefore, the system leads everyone to respect each other and focus on working in the best ways possible.

Also, the absence of a system means that we are overseeing the start of the process of brain drain within the company or institution. In the next article, we will talk about the classification of employees within companies and discuss the danger of talent migration. In the life of start-ups, some employees are the winning card in the company's life; their absence means failure. This is a harsh reality. The absence of a system may put the leader in a dilemma as he tries to make larger deals and higher losses just to retain some of the migrating minds.

"By observing the universe and the simplest natural things, we see order and its effects. Therefore, going against nature means madness and wasted effort."
