Risk Managers
I was asked recently to explain the duties of a risk manager, well as we know that could take awhile so succinctly as I could I went on to explain that a risk managers task involves identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. They analyse various scenarios and assess the likelihood and potential impact of each risk. They may also develop plans to respond to emergencies and minimise damage in the event of a crisis. The risk manager works closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that risk management policies and procedures are followed. They may also be responsible for educating employees on risk management and providing training on how to handle potential risks. The ultimate goal of a risk manager is to ensure that an organisation is prepared to handle any potential risks and minimise their impact on the business.....
