RisingWave Cloud

  • Sink Detail Page. You can now access a central view for sink information directly in the cloud UI. This update provides key metrics, data schema, and dependencies in one place, addressing common pain points from our community. In particular, we've improved observability into sink errors—now, you can quickly check and diagnose connectivity issues with external systems by clicking into the "Errors" card.

  • Revamped Metrics Dashboard. Monitoring your cluster just got a whole lot smoother. This month, we rolled out a major revamp of the Metrics Dashboard, organizing key metrics into clear categories and refining the UI for a more intuitive experience. With improved charts and streamlined navigation, you can quickly spot trends, diagnose issues, and optimize performance with ease.

RisingWave Database

  • Alter Secret. Managing credentials just got simpler in Risingwave! The new ALTER SECRET command allows you to update secrets without recreating them—especially useful when multiple source connectors share the same secret. With a single command, you can update credentials for all related connectors at once. Make sure to restart the cluster for the changes to take effect.

  • Recursive Definition In Protobuf. Recursive definitions in Protobuf are often needed when representing hierarchical or nested data structures, such as Tree-like data, Linked data structures and Nested telemetry data that are common in observability systems. You can resolve the circular dependency by adding the related message dependencies in the messages_as_jsonb parameter using the full type names, separated by commas.
