Moving Forward Together with American Values of Abundance, Trust, and Hope
Dear Friend,
In the wake of this week’s national election, where Donald Trump is projected to emerge as the next president in a close and hard-fought race against Kamala Harris, many of us may feel a mix of emotions—uncertainty, hope, and perhaps even concern. For some, this moment brings excitement; for others, it raises difficult questions. But no matter where we each stand, this moment calls on us to lean into what unites us: our shared values as Americans.
As we step into the next chapter, let’s anchor ourselves in abundance, goodwill, trust, and our most deeply held American values. Together, we can move forward with purpose and unity.
Embracing a Mindset of Abundance
In times of change, it’s easy to fall into a mindset of scarcity, thinking there isn’t enough—enough resources, understanding, or hope. But an abundance mindset challenges us to recognize the potential and possibilities that surround us. Rather than focusing on limits, we focus on what’s possible, knowing that our collective strengths and experiences empower us to create positive change. This mindset of abundance reminds us of our capacity as a nation to innovate, build, and support one another in ways that benefit us all.
Radical Acceptance: Finding Peace in What Is
Radical acceptance is the practice of fully embracing the present, even if it isn’t as we’d hoped. Acceptance isn’t the same as agreement; it’s a way to find peace and channel our energy toward what we can shape. Through radical acceptance, we cultivate joy and gratitude, allowing us to open our hearts to abundance and recognize that our true power comes from the values we live out each day.
Practicing Gratitude and Recognizing Rich Possibilities
Gratitude is the practice of appreciating what we already have. When we focus on what’s present—our connections, communities, and values—we open ourselves to the abundance around us. Gratitude reminds us that together, we already have what we need to build a brighter world. Every day, each small act of kindness brings us closer to a society grounded in respect and mutual trust.
Defining Our Shared American Values: Freedom, Equality, Opportunity, Empathy, Compassion, Kindness, Goodwill, Trust, and Respect
Our core values as Americans reflect a vision of unity and progress, each of us working toward a country that honors every individual’s potential. Let’s explore what these values mean to us.

Moving Forward with Empathy and Goodwill
Across our nation, people voted with conviction, each hoping to shape a better future. Even when our perspectives differ, empathy and goodwill allow us to bridge divides. By meeting each other with understanding, we create space for meaningful conversations and solutions that honor our shared humanity. This abundance mindset reminds us that there is room for all, and enough grace to respect each other’s paths.
Moving Beyond Fear, Embracing Possibility
Fear and scarcity often go hand in hand, clouding our perspectives. But by embracing an abundance mindset, we can look beyond what we fear and toward what we can build together. When we commit to kindness and courage, we move beyond fear, knowing that our shared values—freedom, equality, respect, and opportunity—light the way forward.
Inspiring Ourselves and Each Other
Each of us has the power to inspire those around us by embodying these values and focusing on what we can create together. We have an opportunity to show up, to listen, to support one another, and to bridge divides. This moment challenges us to hold fast to our shared values, recognizing that together, we have all we need to make a meaningful difference.
A Call to Action: Moving Forward in Abundance and Hope
As we look ahead, let’s continue to lead with courage, compassion, and a mindset of abundance. Let’s lift each other up, engage with empathy, and act with the conviction that there is enough for everyone. Together, our collective strengths and values are more powerful than any single moment in history.
Let’s move forward with the belief that we are, in fact, stronger together.
In solidarity,
