A rising tide lifts all boats
Franklin County Data Center (FCDC)
Technology solutions that build trust in local government services
This month we don’t have a story about one person. It’s about one team.
Last month at the National Association of Counties (NACo) annual conference, Franklin County was named a Top 10 winner in the Digital Counties Survey by the Center for Digital Government.
You might think this was an award for Team #FCDC. And sure, we played our part. But this was an award for the entire Franklin County team—the 40+ agencies and thousands of colleagues working to serve every resident, every day. So congratulations… to you, our agency partners.
The Digital Counties Survey celebrates digital innovations that improve public service. And that’s not something #FCDC can do by ourselves. We need partnership with elected leaders, administrators, and service teams from the biggest to the tiniest agencies.
NACo and the CDG praised our work building a government experience team and a technical core for the One Franklin County digital hub—designed to make all county services easier to find and use. That collaborative effort already spans 14 partners, with more on the way.
The award also highlighted our cybersecurity efforts—an honor we share with thousands of colleagues. For example, did you know Franklin County teams completed more than 7,700 hours of security awareness training last year? That training and other innovations helped us detect and reject more than 265,000 malware and phishing attacks.
There’s even more to celebrate in our Digital Counties Survey win. Learn more about the award—our countywide award—online:
