However challenges are not for the feint hearted... ??
Can you recall a challenge, that you entered or signed up to recently. This could relate to your health or exercise or even your career? The physical act of COMMITTING can be hard, but is a great first step. YOU are essentially making the decision that you want to improve ??. October can be a great month to join a challenge, whether that relates to Alcohol (Stoptober) or Health (Cancer research are doing their 100 press up's a day challenge). Also, challenges don't have to be just for your health or wellbeing....??
My Latest Challenge - If you are entrepreneurial and have ambitions to GROW without burning out in the process, then you are going to LOVE my latest 5 day challenge ??. This challenge requires you to COMMIT 30 minutes a day, to work on yourself and your business, alongside other purpose driven individuals. ??.
Personal challenges - 12 years ago I committed to a challenge to cycle from London to Paris. I had started to settle a bit too much and felt like I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone. So, alongside 400 other individuals, I committed to cycle the 280 miles from London to Paris for a cancer charity, which was very close to my heart ??.
24 hours into the challenge, when we arrived in Dover, my knee started to feel very sore. I had been a bit eager on day 1 and pushed myself a bit too hard too soon. So there I was heading across the channel on a ferry, starting to wonder if I could or should carry on?
But then, something interesting happened.....
#1 Commitment to challenge - I reminded myself that I had committed to a challenge. A challenge will have up's and down's and I had not signed up for an easy ride. I had signed up because I wanted to push myself.
#2 Each other - I shared my frustrations with the other people on the challenge and everyone rallied around me. I leaned into the support of like-minded people when I needed it.
This is a picture of me arriving in Paris on an absolutely glorious day, 4 days after I started. I was elated ??.

Challenges for Business - Now, if you run a business or have a senior role, it can be a very lonely experience. Being motivated when things are going smoothly is pretty straight forward, however having that consistency and focus day in and day out can be tough ??. So often our solution is to do things alone. We continue to think working even harder is the answer and if we are not careful, can even start to question whether the sacrifices are really worth it.
This is exactly WHY I am hosting my latest 5 day challenge. I KNOW from experience, that when you COMMIT to a challenge like this, you will take more action ??. Secondly, you will draw inspiration from other ambitious business owners, who also want to become the BEST version of themselves ?? .
During my challenge we will be exploring together how to...
#1 Re-discover your real purpose
#2 Pursue and achieve GOALS for your business which you never believed were possible
#3 Become more focused and motivated than ever before
#4 Grow quicker without burning out in the process
Have a great weekend.
