What makes SaaS a better option than IaaS and PaaS?

Moving on, All the cloud service models efficiently target different set of companies and industries.

1. SaaS (Software as a service) offers ready-to-use solutions that meet a particular business need eg. Gmail, Slack etc.

The end users don’t see the underlying infrastructure or platform it’s built on, because SaaS providers take care of all the necessary hardware and coding. SaaS is easily the most popular form of cloud computing.

2. PaaS (Platform as a service) is most often built on top of an IaaS platform to reduce the need for system administration. It allows you to focus on app development instead of infrastructure management. Software developers use PaaS technology to rent all the tools they need to build an app. A PaaS provider makes all of the necessary development tools, infrastructure, and operating systems available over an internet connection. That enables the PaaS customer to build a whole app in their web browser. eg Heroku, AWS, Azure.

3. IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)?providers sell access to virtual resources like servers, networks, and storage. Enterprise customers?purchase these?resources which is more cost-effective than buying hardware outright. Unlike SaaS users, IaaS customers must manage the applications, runtime, middleware, operating systems, and data they access. The IaaS providers, meanwhile, manage the servers, hard drives, networking, virtualization, and storage eg. AWS, Azure, GCP
