The Rise of the Feminine

At Conscious Learning Tribe, we foresee one of the biggest shifts in human behavioural change happening this decade is the move from Mind to Heart. We have been investigating and experimenting with how we can move beyond ratio-only knowledge systems towards wholistic (whole person) experiences leading with and from the heart, in business and society.

One of our sub-trends within the Mind to Heart megashifts from “Separation to Unity” is about “The Rise of the Feminine”. 

Yin & Yang, Feminine & Masculine

Yin refers to the feminine energies, and yang refers to the masculine energies in life. Giving is an action of our divine masculine, and receiving is an action of our divine feminine, and a balance of both energies is when we feel harmonious within. It’s simple, yet oddly challenging to achieve.

Of course, we’re talking about universal energies — although they’re commonly associated with gender, I am not referring to gender at all. We’re all born with both yin and yang energies; we all have the potential to lean more towards one polarity or the other.

Let’s ask ourselves:

• Do you just “think”, or can you also “feel” your heart, your body and your environment?
• Are you empowering the addictive consumer society or are you serving consciously to co-create more positive futures? 
• Are you aware of your individual and our collective unconscious masculine energy, that is based on pleasing the ego and competition?
• Are you ready to tap into the more creative liquid feminine energy, to nourish your team, community and serve to future generations?

If you said “Maybe” or “Oh, yes!” to the last question, let’s continue. 

The Rise of the Feminine

For a long time now, most of the human designed systems have been led by a masculine energy. 

In much the same way as people, societies can be more or less feminine. It is possible to determine the extent to which societies are focused on achieving self-oriented objectives (masculine societies) or are relative to social objectives (feminine societies). In those societies labelled as masculine, there is a bigger differentiation of gender roles, relative to those societies labelled as feminine. In fact, in feminine societies, both men and women care for the improvement of living standards and are not overly focused on financial success-over wellbeing.

The wounded masculine in our unconscious, created dysfunctional family, society and business lives, with qualities like aggressive competition, control, abuse, avoidance, and withdrawal. When the masculine is wounded, we cannot avoid talking about unhealthy feminine either, acting out in humanity as being overly emotional, needy, and insecure.

On this full speed self-destruction path- with climate change, global pandemics, mental & physical health crises, the institutional social and economic systems collapsing - we pause to ask: “What have we been blinded to?” The answer always lies in what we choose to separate, to ignore from ourselves to become whole. What have we ignored in our energy bodies, and in everything that is a reflection of our inner worlds - which we call our created ‘realities’?

The rise of feminine consciousness is an awakening of power that is aligned with feminine energy or yin energy. This energy is intuitive, nurturing, soft, reflective, liquid, creative, artistic, innovative, entrepreneurial, intelligent, communicative, resourceful, compassionate, and organised. 

Harmony, like in all dimensions of life, is the key to progress. Becoming more aware of these energies within us is an important step towards healing within and out. Bringing our wounded energies to light with consciousness and balancing out masculine and feminine energies helps us to become healthier, purpose led and prosperous.

The Heroines

One of our initiatives is The Heroines, with a mission on the SDG5 (gender equality-basis of all SDG’s). The Heroines is a platform and curated community for game-changer womxn and ambassador men, to collaborate, co-create and co-evolve for regenerative and positive futures. The Heroines Labs, are 8 weeks online seasonal programs that integrate mind, body and heart, are based on 5D Conscious Business Design that encourages redefining success metrics and attitudes in business, with scientific and meaningful impact.

Unconditional M@n

The dialogues I run since last year with many men in physical and online gatherings have taught me that many men are struggling with the male identity, as often, we are surrounded by strong women. As such, many men lose their sense or meaning or purpose as to what it means to be a man.

Men have been in the provider role for many centuries and decades, often abusing this power - consciously or subconsciously - through controlling women. With women becoming more independent and confident, it’ll be up to both sexes to create new synergies based on respect, love, compassion and understanding for each other. With love, one can heal most things.

Men need to be willing to let go of control, being in the provider role and the abusive power that comes with it, and will need to be willing to embrace more feminine qualities such as trusting (again) their intuition, becoming more generous, nurturing, creative, collaborative, caring, receptive, and grateful.

Women on the other hand need to be willing to let go of imitating the toxic male energies - currently widely copied especially in the work environment and reconnect to their feminine energies the world so much needs these days.

And both sexes will need to learn to trust and accept each other again, and be willing to walk that path again, together, no matter what it takes. Growth is about learning together from each other, not about creating more distance or avoidance. Enough distance has been created the last few decades. 

In the end it’s about balancing these energies on a personal level, in your relationships, with your colleagues, teams and communities. Let’s work together to create more beautiful relationships and role-model beauty and love to our children.
