There is an interesting quote, “Artificial Intelligence (AI), will not replace humans but humans who choose to upskill and embrace working ?with AI are the real ones who will take away the jobs of those who refuse to upskill.”
Contrary to popular belief, AI is not here to take our jobs. A recent study by the World Economic Forum found that while 85% of jobs will be impacted by automation, only 5% of jobs will be fully replaced by machines. The remaining 80% will require humans to work alongside AI, augmenting our capabilities and increasing productivity.
A report by Gartner predicts that by 2025, AI will create more jobs than it eliminates, resulting in a net gain of 500,000 new jobs. Additionally, a study by Accenture found that companies that invest in AI see a 20% increase in productivity and a 15% increase in revenue.
The key to thriving in an AI-driven economy is to fully embrace its capabilities. Workers who learn to work alongside AI will see their productivity and earning potential increase. A study by the McKinsey Global Institute found that workers who use AI see a 10-15% increase in their earnings.
So, my advise to all, particularly to my HR colleagues, is that, rather than fearing AI, we must embrace its potential to augment our capabilities and increase our productivity.
?AI is not here to replace us, instead, it has come to enhance our abilities and to drive growth and success.
