Events

• RISC-V Summit North America takes place on October 22-23 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Sponsorships are now available as well as early registration rates to save on your passes. You won’t want to miss the speaker lineup planned for this year’s show and to get the opportunity to engage with RISC-V innovators across many commercial applications in AI/ML, wireless, automotive, data center, space, IoT, embedded and more
• RISC-V Summit Europe in Munich was an amazing success, with 720 visitors from around the world! All sessions are now available to watch on the RISC-V YouTube channel
• RISC-V Summit China 2024 takes place August 21-25, with more than 3,000 attendees expected in person and more than 500,000 watching online! Register now to attend

Technical Development

RISC-V International recently ratified 7 new extensions:

• Capacity and Bandwidth Controller QoS Register Interface (CBQRI)
• E-Trace Encapsulation
• Obviating Memory-Management Instructions after Marking PTEs Valid
• Quality-of-Service (QoS) Identifiers
• Shadow Stacks and Landing Pads
• Resumable Non-maskable Interrupts
• Brain Float 16 (BFloat16)

Training?

• Applications for registration scholarships to RISC-V Summit North America are open until September 13, to support individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend the event
• The in-person Hackathon at Summit Europe was such a success that we are bringing it next to Summit North America! If you’re located in the Bay Area, mark your calendar this one's for you
• Member organizations looking forward to training the next generation of RISC-V engineers can submit a mentorship project by December 1st?
