RIPE Report

As a coach and leader one of the tools I use for my team is a simply little email or voice mail they can leave me on a daily basis that allows me to armchair quarterback. 

I call it the RIPE report. R stands for results what did you do today, I is any information you want to share, P is any problems you might have encountered and finally E is for anything you are excited about. Usually four sentences that I can send back observations or comments. The one I got back yesterday on my birthday from one of folks left me speechless. 

Having your people recognize what you do and show appreciation is the best gift you could ask for as a leader.

I thought it was only fitting that I send you one more RIPE report as a belated birthday present. I hope the people surrounding you that day showed you the thoughtfulness and appreciation you deserve.

R. You have always gone to infinity and beyond when it comes to helping me achieve the results necessary to attain my goals. Thank you for taking to time to help me develop into a quality DVC Cast Member. I will never forget you coming to the Boardwalk to deliver my one-year service anniversary pin. What an incredible way to demonstrate commitment and dedication to your Cast.

I. The information you provide to your team helps us deliver world class Guest service on daily basis. You have always been initial and focused in making sure we all stay up to date in the latest with DVC as well as providing unique information about the Disney parks and resorts, which by sharing with the Guest helps us lower the tension and gain their trust.

P. Not once have you ignored any of my problems or challenges and for that I am truly grateful. Thank for taking the time to listen to your Cast first and then to act second.

E. I know I speak for the rest of the ASA team that we are excited to have a leader as dedicated, passionate, motivated, respectful, courteous and thoughtful as you. Jim, I genuinely hope you know how much I value your leadership. Thank you for always putting the Cast first and helping us serve the Guest in the best way possible.
