Why did they sleep? wondering as he yawned, before plummeting back to sleep again. Messages between him, and little him, and me. (often referred to as our third wheel, probably while the big he was asleep), because of pictured messages, the three of us, came up with the words, "Rip Van Winkle".
He would tire as he touched their hands in his futile attempt to wake them up again. Perhaps he told stories and tried to love them, while placing a his tiny hands in the palm of their big, adult hands. He found his "A" screaming in the streets, massively plugged -in and out, wrapped in that gray blanket, blue suitcase sitting on its side, standing on the outside of the Carew Tower hopelessly wanting in. Was I screaming for him or the children he was with that he and I believed they had stolen from my womb? -His name, "Uncle Kid."
Their is an "Exit" sign there and once there was an "A" obnoxiously screaming, depending on the corner she had placed herself in. She stood, with a quiet sign that in few words, simply meant "help," although most onlookers could not understand. Their was an immediate need, or a threat that was taking place in the buildings that surrounded her there. That threat rendered her helpless and had frozen time, although she stood wide awake while those she loved slept without any reason. She was left to wonder about the events that were taking place inside. Alone she was forced to stand, until she could feel them again. Thus, find it's adequate title, Rip Van Winkle, during a long time span of the years of 2014 and 2015.
