Riley case pressures Stewards
Trainer Mark Riley’s victory in the Supreme Court over Racing Victoria will have the industry authority nervous as it goes into a well-publicised battle against some of Australia’s biggest trainers over cobalt breaches.Riley had been found guilty in February by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RADB) of presenting his horse Gold For Kev with a prohibited substance in its system at Sandown on July 13, 2014, with the horse returning an elevated TCO2 reading.
