Western Michigan University is partnering with Riipen for the 2023-2024 school year to provide their graduate learners enrolled in the Programming Solutions course and 4th-year learners enrolled in the Software Systems Development course with work-based learning opportunities with emerging Western Michigan tech companies, allowing them to gain valuable skills and industry experience.?
Conestoga College learners enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration - International Business Management, Human Resources Management, Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness, and Supply Chain & Operations Management programs will gain valuable skills and industry experience by having access to real-world projects through the Riipen platform.?

ICT Ignite
Tech education leader, Lighthouse Labs is partnering with Riipen to provide an accelerated path to Canada’s thriving tech sectors of Cyber Security, Web Development, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing.
Through hands-on, employer-led projects, this pilot program will help 600 aspiring tech professionals pave their way for success with in-demand tech skills and work experiences tailored for today's dynamic job market.
Diverse Tech Talent Program (DTTP)
Riipen is partnering with the Diverse Tech Talent Program (DTTP), an initiative by the World Innovation League (WIL) in collaboration with Atila, Co.Lab, and Skillhat.?
Designed to address the critical issue of the under-representation of black Canadians and newcomers aged 18-35 in tech, the program will reshape the future of technology through diversity, specialized training and exciting career opportunities for its participants.

College of the Rockies (COTR) has been selected by RBC and Riipen’s REACH UP program to create 400 work-integrated learning (WIL) experiences for students over the next two academic years by engaging students in real industry projects, adding value to their education and future job search.
“Participating in WIL is so important for a balanced and complete educational experience,” said Stephanie Wells, Dean of Business and University Arts and Science. “Through the RBC REACH UP opportunity faculty can provide added value to their assignments for students wishing to work with a real industry client."

We are excited to introduce some of our latest platform enhancements informed by our valued users.
Employers will now receive tangible recommendations on how their project scores in terms of learning opportunity, clarity and support offered through Riipen's automated project review.???
This new feature will help employers craft better projects which will better align with educator’s expectations for their learners, and help match the right project to the right experience.
All users can now earn in-platform achievements based on criteria defined by Riipen or their portal administrator as recognition for their actions other than final feedback.

Women We Admire top 50 women leaders in Missouri for 2023
Riipen's Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Dr. Mara Woody, has been named one of the top 50 women leaders in Missouri for 2023 by Women We Admire, one of the fastest-growing professional women's networks in the U.S. and Canada!
This recognition is a testament to the impact Mara has made, not only within our organization and the work-based learning sphere, but also within higher education and the larger professional landscape of Missouri.
