Install "MeetUp Firmware Upgrade" & "Camera Settings"
Doing it on a Microsoft Teams Rooms (aka Skype Room System), you should do it directly on the system. After installing the updates, you will need to choose how your MeetUp should react.
The options are:
- Off - The MeetUp will not use framing.
- On Call start, The MeetUp will frame in the start of the call
- Dynamic, The MeetUp will change framing during the meeting if people leaves or enter the meeting.
Please be aware that Dynamic is not the same as speaker tracking. But it makes it very easy for users, so they don′t need to use the remote during the call. Everybody in the meeting will be visible and not only the speaker. That makes sense IMO, because I like that I can see everybody in the meeting.
The Dynamic feature doesn′t react immediately, if you change position in the meeting, it takes up to 20 sec. Before the MeetUp pans to you. And yes, the camera actually does move the lens physical.

6 年Thanks for the article! One thing to note: dynamic mode doesn’t always take 20 seconds to adjust. It’s intelligent and will adjust depending on the scene. For example: if someone leaves the scene - it takes longer to reframe as compared to someone entering the meeting and not being in the frame. We did this to minimize camera movement because users find that distracting. Also, agreed in needing to frame all meeting participants. So much commutation happens through body language and other non verbal means - we feel you need to include that for far end users.
