The #rigidity of a #turning center starts with a well designed bed. A "#MonoBlock" bed screams "where are the feet". Ways not attached to feet but designed into the bed castings incorporating "tri-V" design assuring the #precision and #accuracy needed. A "V" design allows more rigidity while keeping #ergonomics in mind. Being able to "belly up the part" allows the machinist to easily load/unload while allowing for room to inspect. Question the width of ways as well as machine weight. #european designed and built!
