Right Words
Be swift to hear and slow to speak,
Not the other way around.
Don’t talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk,
Till the message turns into sound.
Those idle words and subtle lies,
Are simply tares and without correction,
They blend in so nice, but when you look twice,
They stunt growth and prevent pure perfection.
Your words are truly valuable.
So please choose to use them wiser.
Don’t speak death and division, to sow discord,
Speak life to exalt even higher.
Be mindful of those impressionable ears,
Be influential to what they hear.
Boost, self-esteems, nurture, hopes, and dreams,
Beyond this atmosphere.
If limitless, serves as just a starting point,
To enspire, to full potential.
Now imagine when we begin to think,
In the ninth or even tenth dimension.
Have you ever just thought about the difference you make,
That supernatural power you hold.
Your gift from God, that’s uniquely your own,
That he planted in the depths of your soul.
You add your gifts, and I add my gifts,
Like the Architect planned it to be.
Plus he poured in his spirit, his knowledge, and wisdom,
Like a tsunami, from the earth quaking at sea.
Hmmm…, can you feel that?
Can you see that?
Do you believe that;
We were designed to be that?
My brother I do.
And my sister that’s true…..
That’s why I’m swift to hear,
and I’m slow when I speak.
I know the power words have,
On the ears that they reach.
I know that God already gave us,
the dominion we seek.
I know the comfort preachers give,
From the message they preach.
I know my Savior gave his life,
So that I can be free.
I know there’s a greater life,
Sitting waiting for me.
I’m fighting tears trying to imagine,
Just how grand it will be!
Glory!
Glory!
Hallelujah………
But it all starts with right words.
Right words build homes.
Right words mend relationships.
Right words provoke to love and to good works.
Right words reconcile adversaries.
Right words spark imagination and elevation.
Practice doesn’t make perfect.
Perfect practice makes perfect.
