Understand that the definition of positive-attitude you often hear, read or are told - is flawed at its core.

Having been at the receiving end of numerous solid knock-out hits of life - I have realized that [albeit so late in my life] -??that having positive-attitude does not mean any of the following 8 things [add your opinions]

1)????That you will only have positive feelings-thoughts-emotions - this is impossible for anyone who is living in this earth

2)????That you will always be able to look at the brighter side in even the most life-shaking event

3)????That you will be able to find opportunities in every crisis

4)????That you will never feel negative feelings

5)????That you will always be happy - no matter what

6)????That you will be able to overcome-solve-learn everything - if only you can force yourself to think-positive - even if there are absolutely no reason for this false pretense

7)????That you ignore the warning-signs and the probabilities of things not being favorable

8)????That you suppress your gut-feeling’s caution for the flawed definition of positive-attitude?

I have learned that having a positive-outlook realistically-pragmatically-practically MEANS all of the following 12 things [add your opinions]

1)????Looking-forward to bounce-back -after life pulls you down [after you have gone through the complete emotional process of healing]

2)????Accepting the fact that things will not always turn out the way how you want them to be

3)????Accepting that emotional-upheavals, mood-swings, negativities - are part of life’s journey and are absolutely alright to have

4)????Giving your best under every situation instead of giving up

5)????Having the faith in yourself that - irrespective of strong-bad-phase where nothing is working - you will not give-up on your hopes

6)????You will seek help - when you feel - you are unable to get-back on your own

7)????It is alright to fail and make mistakes - even the huge ones

8)????It is alright to feel sad-mad-bad and shi*tty

9)????It is alright to see the negative-dark aspects of people and things

10) It is also to know - when to give-up and when not to - giving-up is perfectly alright in multiple situations

11) It is also when to accept failure of your idea or solution

12) It is also about when to pivot and when to move on

Don’t beat yourself-up feeling as if you are a messenger of the devil - if you see the negatives, negativities or the down-side most of the time - in situations-changes-people-events-plans-strategies-solutions.

It could be a rare-gift - as long as you can work-on these to improve yourself and prepare for the worst-case scenarios to deal with them AND continuously endeavor to make yourself better and better.
