Right Path

You know you're on the right path when you don't feel prepared to take it.

This was the answer one of my greatest teachers and mentors gave to my question. Don Jose Luis was a shaman in the Andes Mountains of Peru. I was privileged to study with him for several years.

Now wait a minute James! I thought you were all about business and entrepreneurship... what's this shamanistic crap?

I am about entrepreneurship AND I consider myself a "Spiritual Entrepreneur."

How I define that is: I bring my spirit, enthusiasm and energy fully and completely to my purpose and gifts; and pursue my highest God-given potential.

Fully.

Even on weekends.

Contrary to popular belief God doesn't work only on Sundays. (God took one day off after creating the ENTIRE UNIVERSE according to Islam, Judaism and Christianity).

You're not creating an entire universe!

Get over yourself.

Even when it takes 100 hour weeks (which are most weeks).

Even when I don't "feel" like it.

For me, it's not a career, it's a calling; and that my friend is my greatest wish for you as well.

So ANYTHING which helps me understand the universe more fully and completely (including shamanism, quantum physics, esoteric truth, business skills, and a lot of other things), help me not only have a high degree of Self-Awareness, but also an ability to become a synthesizer of all great truth (which many have said I do, including Fortune Magazine--you can be your own judge).

The fact, is that growth is hard.

Change is hard.

That's why so many don't do it; and they resign themselves to the cult of mediocrity.

When you don't feel prepared, then you MUST be open to guidance, and faith, and trust, and growth or you'll never make it. Follow?

So I trust you're feeling unprepared today.

I trust you don't feel up to the task.

For God's will for your life is simply one thing...

It's not more money.

It's not more "lifestyle" (whatever the hell that means--please).

It's not more ease and comfort.

It's not more house or car.

It's GROWTH!
