The Right Partnership

I very rarely watch 60 Minutes, however, Sunday night the TV was left on that channel so I happened to see an interesting interview.
Liz Hayes was interviewing the latest dynamic political duo, Pauline Hanson and Mark Latham.
Both very interesting characters and one would assume from very different backgrounds. It was a partnership that took some time to come to fruition. Apparently, Hanson first suggested to Latham he should join One Nation some 10 years ago when he interviewed her on, you’ll never guess, 60 Minutes!
They had a number of discussions before they got to this point apparently. Hanson has recognised Latham is very good at articulating his message, which she is hoping is something he can help her with. Latham didn’t say what he will learn from Hanson but she has given him an opportunity to come out of the political wilderness.
That’s enough about them. What about you? Are you thinking of going into partnership with someone or have you already done it? Did you do your due diligence?
It is a big step and one which takes and needs a lot of consideration before it is undertaken. It all may seem wonderful at the start, especially if you think you know each other very well and may possibly be friends. It’s never really that easy, especially where money is involved. And if you want different things and have different values, it will be tough.
What will you do to make sure your partnership is right?
