This week’s Marketing Minute, we talk to filmmaker, Riley Dayne, who recently released his latest film, the "Age of the Entrepreneur". Personally, I’m really excited about it and think that every business owner, entrepreneur, and marketer should watch it.

I’ll tell you why…

Over the last few months, while everyone was stuck at home, Michael Jordan's documentary "The Last Dance" captured the world's attention like I haven't seen in years.

In just FIVE weeks it became the most popular documentary of all time as the world tuned in to see behind-the-scenes footage of the greatest basketball player ever.

Maybe you've heard of it, maybe you haven't…

Regardless, I believe Riley Dayne’s new film will be the "The Last Dance" for entrepreneurs.

It's a fantastic look at how 24 of the most revolutionary entrepreneurs are changing how modern businesses are growing.

Here’s the trailer if you are interested in getting a sneak peek…

You can watch “The Age Of The Entrepreneur” free for a limited time here and I highly recommend it.

In the meantime, we got a hold of Riley himself to get some insight into why he made it, why it’s important today for entrepreneurs, and what he personally learned from speaking to some of today’s top entrepreneurs.

Here’s what we asked Riley:

Josh: First things first, can you tell us about the Age of the Entrepreneur documentary?

Riley: It’s a feature-length documentary about what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. I had camera crews follow me for 2 years as I traveled America, sitting down with some of the brightest business minds on the planet.

Josh: How was it putting that together?

Riley: It was a blast! We got to chat with inspiring billionaires like Tom Bilyeu (Quest) and Avishai Abrahami (WIX) as well as some of my personal hero’s like Russell Brunson (ClickFunnels) and Kevin Harrington (Shark Tank). It was incredible to learn from these visionaries one-on-one and even better to capture it on camera for the world to see!

Josh: What motivated you to create this documentary?

Riley: I really felt like the word needed something like this, especially with everything we’re going through now. I wanted to help people become the “captain of their own ships” and show them that they absolutely can create the life of their dreams. I feel like this film really can be a roadmap to success if you utilize it properly.

Josh: Why should readers put this on their watch list asap?

Riley: Aside from the invaluable secrets, strategies, and formulas you’ll take away - the film is truly inspiring and can really help reignite the fire of your ideas...and to me, that alone is worth the 90 minutes.

Josh: Is this for current entrepreneurs or should anyone dreaming of becoming an entrepreneur be watching this?

Riley: This movie is the *perfect* starting place for new entrepreneurs, the film covers everything from “how to pick your idea” to “how to launch successfully” and everything in between! However, these entrepreneurs share so many valuable concepts that even lifelong entrepreneurs will find “golden nuggets” that will stick with them for years.

Josh: Without giving too much away, what are some of the biggest things you learned while putting this documentary together?

Riley: The list is too long, honestly. However, I think the most surprising thing is just how open these entrepreneurs were when it came to “how” they created their success - they really held nothing back and I was shocked at how open and honest they were about EVERYTHING.

You’ll have to watch it to see what I mean :)

Thanks, Riley!

As a business owner and entrepreneur myself, I was interested, but when I saw who was involved, and heard what they shared… I was blown away.

It’s a must-watch for anyone interested in starting and growing a seven figure+ business.

You’ll sit in on interviews with 24 of today’s successful entrepreneurs (some you’ve heard of, some you haven’t, including Russell Brunson (Clickfunnels), Dave Asprey (Bulletproof), Kevin Harrington (Shark Thank) and sooo many more!)...

And they share the secrets to their success. Seriously, it’s like an MBA in 90 minutes.

I had the honor of being trained by two extremely talented self made Entrepreneurial minds and both contributed greatly as assets for our country. What they considered priority and how this philosophy impacted so many people almost all are unaware of. A lot of the truly great ones don't consider themselves entrepreneurial but they were. One was the Chief Combustion Engineer that graduated from VMI with an engineering degree and the other had a perspective that nothing could hold us back but the way we think. Both came from modest means and both stayed grounded throughout their careers and lifetime. I agree that the time for leadership has not been needed as greatly as now within the last century but what they left behind was a pattern and design that was so simple and basic that only seeing it unfold could you believe it could be done. Its not the marketing nor any other tool its the person themselves. Someone could create or invent the most incredible inventions or ideas but if they don't know what to do with it then they are just dreamers not doers.
