If you’re going to build the website with numbers of pages, there are numerous questions that would cross your mind. You probably look for designs, functionalities, color combinations, subscriptions, framework and the list is. Talking specifically about designs we think a lot about it because design holds an important part in development.Today we’ll talk about CSS Frameworks, basically, what are they and like what consideration you should take while choosing for your site. I’ll put light on some of my best frameworks and would also tell you how to choose the best framework for your site.

WHAT IS A CSS FRAMEWORK?

  • A CSS Framework can also be called as Web Framework is a group of tools, libraries, and best practices for use on a website. A CSS framework can be as simple as for one page as to which you can make it for the starting page or as complexities with CSS, HTML JavaScript. As nearly all frameworks include a few things in line.CSS resets
  • CSS Grids
  • Typography
  • Colors
  • Plug-ins and custom user interface (UI) elements

CSS RESETS

Web Browsers normally differentiate themselves by display sites features. One browser may indent lists by 30 pixels, while another indent by 40 pixels. Some browsers include border and some includes padding. You can build a page with very explicit CSS and still be surprised by how different it looks in two different browsers.CSS Resets fix this problem by bringing all the website elements to the baseline, usually with no styles. With everything displayed the same way. You can work from this “blank canvas,” using your CSS to make all pages look the way you want. Most web frameworks contain some type of CSS reset.

GRIDS

Grids are another tedious part of web design. If you build your own grids there are very much chances to get the best proportions of columns and gutters. In fact, many web designers don’t build their own grids at all. But if you don’t use a grid it’s your designs would suffer for it.Grids help designs look consistent and easy to understand. They give the design structure and clarity. Plus, using a grid makes it easier to replicate the design later.

TYPOGRAPHY

Many frameworks include typographic adjustments like fixing line height, adding/removing element padding, and ensuring that headings flow in size as well as a font family.

COLORS

Many web designers want to have complete control of colors on a website. Do you know what it means for colors to be complementary? If not, perhaps you should use one of the many frameworks that provide a baseline for using colors effectively. Because not all frameworks provide color guidance.

PLUG-INS AND OTHER CUSTOM UI ELEMENTS

Some of the more complex frameworks offer plug-ins, scripts, and custom user interface elements. If your site needs special features like a photo gallery, tooltips, collapsible sections, or other scripted UI elements. You might save time by using a framework with such built-in elements.

WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS CONSIDERING FRAMEWORK?

It’s not just about choosing but we should actually know about offers offered. Consider these things,

  • What type of framework your site needs
  • Framework language
  • Framework features
  • Whether the framework is customization and modular

Some of My Favorite CSS Frameworks: If you’re not so sure then you can give a look at mine,

  • 960 Grid System
  • Blueprint
  • Bootstrap
  • Compass
  • HTML5 Boilerplate
  • Pure CSS
