What Is the PXT Select Assessment?

As a comprehensive, "full person" assessment, the PXT Select assessment measures how well a candidate fits specific jobs in an organization by assessing three critical job components that determine job success.

Behavioral Traits

This portion of the assessment measures a person's key behavioral tendencies, preferences, likes and dislikes, and comfort zones. Learn, for example, if a candidate tends to be cooperative and work within the rules, or if they tend to set their direction and act independently, and that they prefer working at slower pace than most people.

Interests

This section helps predict motivation and potential satisfaction with a given job. The more their interests align with core functions of a job, the more they will find the work rewarding and vice versa the lower the alignment the lower their satisfaction with the work. Every job has its good side and bad side. The more our nature sees more good in the job than bad the better the fit.

Cognitive

Cognitive skills are the pre eminent predictor of job success. It defines how a person processes information both numeric and language for problem-solving, communication, and learning skills. A person with a low score than required by the job will feel anxious and stressed in the role, whereas their counterpart having a higher score than required will feel bored and equally stressed.
