In the corporate matrix, there are always a few folks who walk that fine line between “playing it safe” and “just a toe over.” For years, I've been that guy. Living dangerously close to the edge, testing boundaries, and somehow still keeping a seat at the table. I guess you could say I was the “glitch in the system”—the one everyone looked at and thought, “If he’s still here, we’re good.”
Well, friends, the glitch has officially been “resolved.”
And now I’m out here wondering… how y'all feeling?
Canary in the Coal Mine Vibes:
You know the type—the canary who ventures just a bit further than the rest, the one who lets everyone else know it’s okay to exhale. I wore that badge proudly, keeping things real and maybe shaking things up along the way. And maybe I pushed the line a bit too much, but hey, I kept it interesting.
But here’s the kicker: corporate loves “fixing the glitch.” And sometimes, that means the canary gets sent packing first. Now it’s time to take this glitchy wisdom and put it to work somewhere new.
So here’s to all the other “glitches” and canaries out there, the boundary-pushers and the line-walkers. If you’re still in the matrix, keep it interesting. And if you’re out here with me… let’s make some noise.
