Within the Ops-Ninjas, our operations team, we prioritise connecting with one another beyond our regular tasks. Our monthly lunches, filled with engaging activities like Jeopardy, create a lively atmosphere where laughter thrives. These shared experiences transform our workplace into a second home, making me feel comfortable and valued for my interests and passions. It’s within this vibrant environment that Fun & Joy truly comes alive.

Chris:

As a learning experience designer, I also see Fun & Joy as a driving force behind our work. It's about creating engaging experiences that inspire both our clients and ourselves. I liken it to planning an exhilarating motorcycle ride—each project presents new twists and turns, filled with opportunities for discovery. Our meetings are often lively and interactive, creating an atmosphere that surprises our stakeholders and keeps us all energised.

Collaborating with Chris to bring our designs to life during client deliveries adds another layer of excitement. The behind-the-scenes process fosters immense creativity, from selecting colours to crafting the ideal ambiance. It’s a truly engaging journey, and seeing our clients’ reactions firsthand is incredibly rewarding. Those moments reaffirm why we invest so much effort into our internal processes.

Absolutely! That sense of joy permeates our collaborative efforts. When Rudo and I work together, we brainstorm innovative ways to make our content not only engaging but also visually appealing. This synergy enhances our work and reinforces the joy we find in creating something impactful together.

During our Weekly Review meetings, we share not only project updates but also personal insights about our weekends and how we’re feeling. These exchanges help us build deeper connections and create a supportive atmosphere.
