As an entrepreneur, your journey often feels like a wild roller coaster ride, filled with heart-stopping highs and nerve-racking lows. The track is especially tumultuous when you're grappling with personal insecurities and wavering confidence. Every stage of your entrepreneurial adventure - whether it's the birth of your business, the growth phase, a strategic pivot, or preparing for an exit - comes with its own thrilling rises, steep falls, and sharp turns of uncertainty.?
There may be times when you feel overwhelmed by the turbulence, ready to throw up your hands and call it quits. But remember, even when things are going great, it's normal to anxiously anticipate the next downturn. That's part of the journey.?
What I encourage you to do during these moments is pause. Look back and recognize the milestones you've achieved.?
Perhaps you broke free from the constraints of a traditional job and bravely took the entrepreneurial leap. Or, you successfully engaged in conversations with potential customers, turning them from prospects to partners.?
Maybe you've seen your business grow, moving from five figures to six and even seven figures. That's a monumental accomplishment that not many can claim.?
Or it could be an internal victory, like expanding your team after being a solo operator for years. Or landing a major contract you once thought was out of reach. Perhaps you've navigated the tricky terrain of financial debt, acquiring along the way a newfound understanding that your financials are the lifeblood of your business.

These wins - big and small - deserve celebration. They serve as reminders of why you embarked on this entrepreneurial journey.?
And always remember: You don't have to know all the answers. As a business owner, part of your role is to ask questions, seek help, and leverage the collective wisdom of your network. Your friends, peers, and mentors can act as valuable soundboards, helping you find the answers you need.
For all the women entrepreneurs out there who may be doubting themselves in this moment, I want to send you these words of encouragement: You are capable. You are resilient. Yes, it's tough. Yes, it can suck. But believe me, you've got this.
Just remember why you do what you do. Reconnect with that passion, that drive that sparked your entrepreneurial journey in the first place. Use it as fuel to push through the challenges and continue climbing, for the view from the top of that roller coaster is absolutely worth it.

1 年Within our business slack we have a #kudos channel and try to regularly give each other recognition for things to be celebrated and appreciated, both big and small. I can attest that leaders need this just as much as the rest of the team. We have also normalized/welcomed the ‘self-kudos’ ;)
